I wanted to have a creative outlet, and I realized the monotony and similarity of design in the world of racing. Most of the challenge lies in interpreting what the client wants. In my experience, often times, clients have a difficulty articulating what they want, but have an easier time expressing what they don't want. I've learned to ask questions in a spectrum. "Do you lean more in a traditional, classic, vintage design or would you rather sport something striking, abstract, or unique? Do you want to stand out and display your personality or would you rather be stealthy and low key?" Approaching clients this way has helped me understand their design needs over time.
The art is understanding what the clients are trying to say. It's delving in their psychology and every client is different.

Over the years, I’ve realized success in the quality of clients, starting in the beginning with affluent hobbyists to working with professionals to even names like Jenson Button and Williams F1 Racing. It was also through ICM the I developed skills in 3D rendering and helmet painting.
But overall, the most rewarding thing about this job is the clients saying how much my work represents their personality, talent, and heart.
Next projects.
